Captive Programs
A variety of captive finance companies use Ivory products and services in many aspects of their business. The Ivory team has years of successful experience helping implement sophisticated, centrally controlled pricing for captives. Here are two examples:
A very large multi-national captive:
- Hundreds of sales pros around the world have a fully specialized version of SuperTRUMP on their laptops, so that they can quote anywhere, any time.
- All these sales pros are linked to a central quoting database, where every quote they make is saved, for both management review and future sales use;
- An internally developed Web-based origination system uses a SuperTRUMP Quoting Server to deliver quotes through hundreds of dealers in many countries;
- All the dealer generated quotes are also saved off in a central database;
- Pricing variables such as costs of funds, residual values, expense loads, and more are all maintained in a central location and used by both the laptop and origination system users, ensuring consistency;
- Ivory tools ensure that the field sales people always have the right quoting variables, and make sure all their quotes get into the database – no rogue quotes allowed!
- SuperTRUMP Accounting Servers deliver the required accounting streams for booking closed business in several countries.
Another international captive:
- One set of dozens of sales people has a fully customized version of SuperTRUMP on their laptops to quote anywhere, any time;
- Another set of sales people access SuperTRUMP on demand via an intranet. These users do not have a copy of SuperTRUMP installed locally, but instead access a copy as needed;
- SuperTRUMP is integrated with a corporate server holding certain sensitive pricing data in Europe. The encrypted data is pulled down whenever the user produces a quote, but otherwise does not ‘live’ on the sales laptop;
- A fully integrated third-party origination system uses a SuperTRUMP Quoting Server to produce quotes;
- Management uses Portfolio to evaluate segments of their portfolio for syndication.
