Fundamentals of Equipment Finance for the Pricing Professional - 1 day
Geared toward new SuperTRUMP users needing the finance background to learn SuperTRUMP. For certification, students must demonstrate an understanding of basic lease finance terms including yields, risks, residual and related concepts, as well as cash, tax and accounting considerations.
SuperTRUMP Fundamentals through Case Studies (Part 1) - 1 day
For finance professionals new to SuperTRUMP as well existing SuperTRUMP users who want to expand their knowledge. With the help of Ivory experts, students work though 8 hands-on Case Studies to explore the basic features of SuperTRUMP, including:

Students work though hands-on Case Studies to explore some of the more complex features of SuperTRUMP, including:

Students can choose two or three classes from a variety of topics. Certification is given upon completion of each class. Prerequisite: extensive experience with SuperTRUMP or completion of Mastering SuperTRUMP through Case Studies. The following are a few of the most popular classes:
Advanced Cash Flow Screen
Learn advanced uses of the Rent, Loan and Periodic Expense and Income screens, complex step-up structures, locking and targeting for one-off structures, "Inflation Factors", variable interest rates, mid-period rate changes, etc.
Asset Breakout
Learn how to use one of SuperTRUMP's latest additions, the ability to breakout assets and associate them with each of the other parameters, such as rents, fees, etc. This allows for asset level accounting and for simplified analysis of terminations in a multi-asset transaction.
Custom Reports
Learn how to customize reports using SuperTRUMP and how to create custom Word templates incorporating results that can be printed directly from SuperTRUMP.
EBOs & Termination Values
A look at how SuperTRUMP calculates Termination Values and Schedules, and how to price an Early Buy Out structure.
Expense Modeling
Learn techniques to capture fixed and variable expenses in pricing models; discuss issues and possible solutions beyond just targeting a yield sufficient to recapture expenses.
Lease Classification
Learn the ins and outs of classifying leases for taxes (true lease vs. conditional sale) and for accounting (capital vs. operating).
